Bala Game Night (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a private, members-only session coordination platform. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and how it is protected.

Information We Collect

When you register for Bala Game Night, we collect your name, email address, and optionally your US mobile phone number. We also collect availability preferences and game interest information you provide during onboarding.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to coordinate game sessions among our closed membership group. Specifically:

• Your email address is used for account authentication (magic link login).
• Your phone number, if provided, is used to send SMS notifications about sessions you are invited to — including invitations, confirmations, cancellations, and day-before reminders.
• Your availability and game preferences are used to match you with appropriate sessions.

SMS Communications

By voluntarily providing your phone number during registration, you consent to receive SMS messages from Bala Game Night for session coordination purposes. Message frequency varies depending on how many sessions are scheduled — typically 2–6 messages per session. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message or by removing your phone number from your profile at balagamenight.com/profile.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, share, or use your personal information for marketing purposes. Your data is never shared with third parties except as strictly necessary to operate the service:

• Twilio (twilio.com) processes and delivers SMS messages on our behalf.
• Supabase (supabase.com) stores your account data securely.
• Resend (resend.com) delivers account authentication emails.

No other third parties have access to your personal information.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, contact isaac@balagamenight.com.
